At approximately 1:50 pm today (Monday), deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s 
Office responded to the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 901 Grove Road in reference to a bank robbery. When Investigators arrived on scene, they initiated an investigation and learned that prior to receiving the call,a suspect entered the bank and passed off a note which contained literature demanding money. The suspect was able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported and it’s unknown whether the suspect was armed at the time. The suspect is described as a black male, between 5’11” – 6’2”, with a slim to medium build. The suspect drove away in a red or burgundy sedan towards White Horse Road. Investigators are asking that anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity, to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
