Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Mar. 13 – Tiffany N. Alexander, 29, 100 Terrapin Drive, Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a black Toyota Corolla was observed on Anderson Drive with an expired license plate. She was transported to ACDC without incident. R. Maxwell investigated.
Mar. 19 – Donovan Shaye Trueland, 26, 602 Williams St., Williamston was arrested for domestic violence after officers responded to the address in reference to an altercation. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
Mar. 18 – Major’s ABC store, 512 Greenville Dr., Williamston reported an unknown subject broke out the front glass of the business with a rock. Items taken include two bottles of Evan Williams liquor, two bottles of Rich & Rare liquor, two bottles of Old Crow liquor. The items were valued at $130. Damage to the window was estimated at $250. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Mar. 16 – Roy Anthony Shaw, 39, 11 Circle St., Williamston was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after officers heard gun shots on Circle Dr., in Williamston. According to reports, officers were patrolling in the area and responded quickly.
Four male subjects and one female were observed in the yard. Travis Patterson, 25, 130 West First St., Williamston, stated he had a gun and all suspects were ordered to get on the ground and the command was given several times before any of the subjects would comply. After repeated commands they did. Reports state Patterson and Shaw were curisng and yelling and Shaw attempted to get up several times. Lt. A. Eliopoulosa of West Pelzer Police and two deputies with Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist. Patterson and Shaw were arrested for disturbing the peace and transported to ACDC. L. B. Mar. 13 – Jody Scott Childers, 358 Finley Rd., Easley was arrested for driving under suspension after officers observed a white sedan on Greenville Drive with no tag. When the patrol vehicle turned around to stop, the vehicle sped up and turned onto Wilson St. The male driver stated that he knew he did not have a tag and that it had been stolen and reported to Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. Childers had a suspended drivers license. He was arrested and transported to ACDC. J. Layfayette investigated.
Mar. 11 – Officers responded to 307 E. Carolina St where they investigated a domestic incident reported as an assault and using a motor vehicle without consent. No additional information provided. C. C. Brown, K. Anthony investigated.
Mar. 8 – Jason Junior Webb, 39, 213 W. Union Dr. #B, Belton was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers responded to Mahaffey Rd., in response to a subject coming from behind a residence that is on a keep check list. According to reports, several neighbors stated the subject was observed going behind the house at 3 Mahaffey Rd., on a moped with a trailer with nothing on it and then coming out with a wooden bench on the trailer. Webb was located at Williamston Rd. and Harper St. on a moped with a trailer and wooden bench. The owner of the house could not be contacted about the bench. Webb was charged with disturbing the peace and transported to ACDC. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Mar. 9 – Savway, 309 E. Main St., reported a gas driveoff in which $50 in gas was taken without payment. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
Mar. 7 – Vickie Dianne Reed, 60, 3 (1-11) Church St. reported medications taken from her residence. C. C. Brown, K. Anthony investigated.
