Greenville County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 3429 Fork Shoals Rd Saturday (March 24) regarding a located, stolen vehicle.
According to reports, Deputies approached several subjects who were outside the residence to begin their investigation into the stolen vehicle on the property. One subject, 27 year-old Jacob Black, assaulted a deputy, fled on foot and was briefly pursued and apprehended. Black was charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, Assault and Battery (2nd degree), Obliterated Serial Number on Pistol, Threatening Life of a Public Official, and Resisting Arrest.
Upon further investigation, Deputies learned there were several more people inside, two of which had at least one confirmed warrant each. SWAT was called to the residence and five additional suspects were arrested and charged with various crimes.
The investigation into the stolen vehicle is still active, but the vehicle has been recovered.
