As of Wednesday, authorities continued a search for a wanted Virginia man who was sighted in the Wren area of Anderson County Tuesday.
Daniel Earl Webb, wanted by the U.S. Marshals on several drug and weapons charges, was reported to be in the area. ACSO deputies assisted the U.S. Marshals in the search, but Webb was not located. The ACSO released a brief statement noting that they are continuing to assist the federal authorities, and that there is a considerable law enforcement presence in the area.
The statement said, “Authorities continue to search the area today. He is a thirty nine year old white male, six feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with tattoos on his neck. He is considered armed and dangerous, and if seen, he should not be approached.”
