Williamston’s Fire Dept. supported the Rock Springs Fire Dept. in the 911 Walk to Belton’s Fire Dept. Sun. Sept. 9, with a large American Flag held over the group of supporters for the fire fighters included in the 2996 people who lost their lives and injured over 6,000 others on Sept.11, 2001. The Walk ended at the Belton Fire Department where the Fire Dept. bell was rung by each fireman and volunteers that walked representing those that died that day.
