BRANDON NATHAN TYSON, BELINDA MANLEY, DANNY ‘POP’ WYATT, VAN JEFFREY WILLIAMS, ROBERT PLESS

BRANDON NATHAN TYSON

Brandon Nathan Tyson, 17, of Williamston, died on Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was the son of Jeremy and Niki Tyson.

He was an accomplished all around athlete in football, baseball, cross country and track.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at Sullivan-King Mortuary.

BELINDA MANLEY

Belinda Eleanor Babb Manley, 56, of Piedmont, wife of Randy Harold Manley, died September 3, 2018.

Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of Raymond “Francis” and Nora “Eleanor” Harrison Babb of Piedmont. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Crystal Manley and Randy Manley, both of Piedmont; sisters, Debra Williams and Lisa Adkins; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was Friday, September 7 in the chapel at Gray Mortuary, followed by burial at Pine Lawn Cemetery.

DANNY ‘POP’ WYATT

Danny Joe “Pop” Wyatt, of Williamston, 68, husband of Daisy Marie Fox Wyatt, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late George Edward Wyatt and Pearlie Mae Lee Wyatt. He was a US Army veteran and retired from JP Stevens, Estes plant.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Danny Lewis Wyatt and Travis Odom of Greenville, and Kevin Odom of Pelzer; sisters, Louise Russell of Greenville and Dianne Jones of Marietta; brothers, Cecil Wyatt of Greenville and Charles Wyatt of Easley; and five grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

VAN JEFFREY WILLIAMS

Van Jeffrey “Jeff” Williams, 57 of Piedmont died on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

Son of the late Van W. Williams and Linda Watt, he leaves behind one sister; Lynn Williams, of Piedmont.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 9 at Freedom Fellowship Church, 41 Ray Road, Moonville.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Greenville Rescue Mission, 575 West Washington Street, Greenville, SC 29671 in memory of Jeff.

ROBERT PLESS

Robert Terrell Pless, 84, of Pelzer, husband of the late Freddie Lee Phillips Pless, died Monday, September 10, 2018.

Born in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late Alvin Frank and Clara Bell Smith Pless. He retired from Michelin Tire Company and was a member of West Pelzer Baptist Church.

He is survived by daughter, Tonya Lee Hammonds of Belton; son, Tracy Pless of Honea Path; sister, Polly Scott and brother, Frank Pless, both of GA; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, September 12 in the chapel at Gray Mortuary. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family is at the home of his son, Tracy Pless, 14 Brock Avenue, Honea Path, SC 29654.
