Voting at Piercetown precinct

The Piercetown precinct has almost two thousand registered voters and has out grown the
fire station where voting is held.  Fire trucks had to be removed from the building and were lined up along Highway 81 while voting was underway Tuesday. A big problem at Piercetown was parking, with a number of voters parking across the highway at the Piercetown General Store. Area precincts reported around 50 percent or more turnout and though lines were long at times, most of the voters didn’t seem to mind and the lines seemed to moved fairly well.
