According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, Demecca Denise Austin, 31, Holden Ct. Piedmont was fatally injured in an accident last Tuesday (Nov. 6). Emergency responders and law enforcement were called to the intersection of Warren H Abernathy Blvd. and Nazareth Church Road where Austin was pronounced dead at 3:03 am. The incident is remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
