Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Piedmont Natural Gas on White Street Extension in Anderson at approximately 7 am Wednesday morning in reference to reported shooting at the business.
Upon arrival, deputies located an individual on scene who advised that there were people shooting inside and there were additional shooters atop the building.
During the investigation, it was found that the man who alleged the shooting inside and the additional shooters, was intoxicated. The man was subsequently taken into custody without incident, for burglary to the business.
No additional information provided.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office continues to not provide incident reports to The Journal on a regular basis.
