Williamston Police Report
Jan 9 – Cash Time, 8 Greenville Drive, Williamston, reported a counterfeiting incident in which a named individual went into the business to get a check advance on Dec. 25. The check for $175 was on a closed account and was a check stolen approximately two years ago. D. R. Hart investigated.
Jan. 11 – Officers were dispatched to 19 Parker St. in reference to a domestic incident. No additional details provided. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Jan. 12 – James Richard Passmore, 37, 5476 Hwy. 418, Fountain Inn was arrested for driving under suspension after a black vehicle was observed failing to stop at Mill Street and Williams St. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Jan12 – Officers were dispatched to Deals Galore, 28 Beaverdam Road in reference to a larceny of a trailer hitch valued at $90. No additional information provided. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
Jan. 13 – Officers were dispatched to 19 Parker St. in reference to a domestic incident. No additional details provided.
Jan. 14 – Cynthia Marie Huckaby, 49, 20 Circle Dr., Williamston reported vandalism in which a tire was slashed on a vehicle. The tire was valued at $200. C. C. Brown investigated.
Jan. 14 – Officers were dispatched to 12 W. Second St. in reference to a domestic situation. No arrests were made. D. R. Hart investigated.
Jan. 20 – Tonia Marie Livingston, 40 3404 White Horse Rd., Apt. A reported a hit and run incident at Family Dollar, 1505 Anderson Dr., in which a white female with blonde hair driving a Chevrolet pickup truck, backed into Livingston’s 2006 Ford Taurus, and drove off. Damage was estimated at $1000. D. R. Hart investigated.
Jan 17 – Joshua Ray Hammonds, 609 Foster Rd., Williamston reported a hit and run incident in which a white truck turned right onto Hwy. 20 from the Subway parking lot and struck the passenger side of his vehicle. According to reports, both parties pulled into the Dollar Tree parking lot and the white truck left the scene. C. C. Brown, K. Anthony investigated.
Jan. 17 – John Christian Farmer, Sr., 59, 108 E St., Williamston reported a larceny incident in which items valued at $70 were taken. The incident remains under investigation. No additional information provided. K. Anthony investigated.
Jan 20 – Hunter Charles Moore, 19, 111 Lillie Moore Dr., Piedmont was arrested for driving left of center after a black Chevy Silverado was observed crossing the double yellow lines three times on Greenville Dr. heading towards West Pelzer. Moore was issued a UTT summons for the offense. D. D. Morgan investigated.
Jan. 21 – Officers recovered a stolen vehicle after it was observed in the Hardee’s parking lot with damage to the windshield and the driver’s side door. The vehicle, valued at $6300, was reported stolen from Greenville County. R. Maxwell, D. D. Morgan investigated.
