Williamston firefighters responded to a structure fire Saturday night on W. 1st Street. Upon arrival smoke was showing. Quick action by firefighters kept damage to a minimal. Whitefield and Cheddar responded auto assist and Belton and Honea Path responded RIT. Medshore Ambulance Service stood by as firefighters extinguished the fire. (Photo by David Rogers)
