Pelzer Mayor Scott recuperating at St. Francis

Town releases statement on mayor’s condition
The Town of Pelzer issued the following statement regarding the condition of Mayor Roger Scott, who is currently recovering from a series of mini strokes at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville:
As you all know the mayor has recently suffered a series of mini strokes and is recuperating at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. He is responding to treatment, he is alert, able to talk and visit with his family. The family is requesting no visitors at this time. They will advise as to when he can have other visitors. They are asking this to give him the time for his recovery. People who would like to send cards may send them to: St. Francis Hospital, 1 St. Francis Drive, Room 102, Greenville, SC, 29601.
