Cheddar Fire Dept responded to an accident Sunday night on Hwy 247 just across the Greenville County line. The driver was able to call 911 from his cell phone, although he was unable to specify exactly where he was so it took a few minutes to locate the vehicle off the bridge into the woods. Driver was transported by EMS.
