Vice President Mike Pence was in the Upstate Monday for two events in Anderson County. First the Vice President visited Sargent Metal Fabrications in Anderson where he spoke on United States Trade Policy.
America First Policies hosted the event which is one of several in a series.
The series titled “USMCA: A Better Deal for American Workers,” features guest speakers discussing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and how the new trade deal will benefit the economy and American workers in the Anderson area, the state of South Carolina, and in the nation as a whole,” according to a news release about the event.
Pence was also the keynote speaker at the ninth annual Congressman Jeff Duncan Faith & Freedom BBQ held at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center.
