This evening, Wednesday, August 28th, the famous Budweiser Clydesdales will parade through downtown Clemson.
But before their appearance, they were in the Piercetown community preparing for their special event. Handlers took care of the famous horses at Stone Ridge in the 5 Forks area next to Piercetown.

For their march through Clemson, the horses will be hitched up at Tiger Park, and the parade will begin at 8 p.m. at Catherine Smith Plaza on College Ave. The team will go through downtown and turn right onto Hwy 93 and end their parade at the Esso Club.
During this time frame no vehicles will be allowed to turn onto College Ave. from the Hwy 93 intersection; at the same time no vehicles will be allowed to pass the horse and carriage
team if you are traveling up College Ave behind them.
The Clemson Police Department asks people who come out and see these fantastic horses and their carriage, to please stay on the sidewalks along both sides of College Ave. You will have plenty of visual space to take photographs from the sidewalk. Please note: no one will be allowed to pet the horses per their handlers.
The Clemson Police Department asks that if you plan to view from the Hwy 93 area, to please remain in front of the businesses along that section of the parade and NOT out on the roadway.
There will be stops along the parade route which will again give the opportunity for photographs.
The final part of this event will be skydivers jumping onto the grounds of Tiger Park at approximately 9pm.
