The Town of Williamston has issued a statement that the residents and customers of the Town of Williamston and its water customers, located in Anderson County, no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.  The advisory states that following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by Anderson Regional Joint Water System. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes. For any questions concerning this repeal of the Boil Notice, you may call Town Hall at 847-7473 during normal business hours or David Rogers at (864) 844-6892.
