On October 10, at the Belton Recreation Center, officials of the Hydro Company, Anderson County and a representative of the U.S. Department of Labor will be on hand for a job fair, for a number of different companies that are located or have recently located to Anderson County.

Representatives from twenty different entities, such as TriCounty Technical College, Arthrex, Michelin, First Quality, E&I Engineering, , HTI, and others will be on hand to provide job information. Anderson County Economic Development Director Burriss Nelson told The Journal that this is just one aspect of the county’s commitment to assist those industries that choose to locate here find and hire qualified and trainable workers.
“The matching of qualified workers with well paid jobs is the essence of economic development. Bringing representatives of these exemplary companies together with the emerging work force in Anderson County is an important step in accomplishing that goal.”
Information session will last from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. with a break for lunch.
