2019 Scarecrow Contest winners recognized

The Envision Williamston 2019 Scarecrow Contest recently concluded with more than 20 scarecrow entries and approximately 600 online votes cast in each category. Envision Williamston representative Debbie Chapman recognized the 2019 Scarecrow Contest winners during the Town Council meeting Monday.
This year’s winners are: Individual/Family: First Place – Stickler Syndrome/Medical Awareness Scarecrows by Fran Cooley; Second Place – New Born Baby Family by Tyce Owens.
Organization: First Place – Mom with baby and buggy of food by Operation Care Food Bank; Second Place – “Feed the Hungry” Gardener Scarecrow by Faith Food Bank.
Business: First Place – Wizard of Oz by Goody’s; Second Place – Miss Bling by Brandie DeLauder Southern Girls Boutique, LLC.
Most Whimsical: Happy Growl-O-Ween by Ali Kay, Vanity Fur.
Most Creative: Sassy Crows by Sassy Consignment & Boutique and A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That.
People’s Choice: The Harvest is Plentiful, but the Workers are Few. Matthew 9:37 by Hillcrest Baptist Church.
