Lt. Governor to speak to County Republican Women

Anderson County Republican Women will meet at Logan’s Steak House on Monday, January 27. Logan’s is located at 3402 Clemson Boulevard, in Anderson. The meal is Dutch treat, and the program begins at Noon. They will be ordering from Logan’s selected menu, and the meal will be $11.50 which includes tea or water. Some may want to come by 11:30 am to make menu selections.
This month the guest speaker is Lt. Governor Pamela Evette. Evette is the 93rd Lieutenant Governor of SC and the first female Republican Lieutenant Governor. An entrepreneur and businesswoman, Pamela Evette founded Quality Business Solutions, a payroll, human resources and benefits services firm in Travelers Rest which is one of the nation’s fastest growing small businesses. Her business has been repeatedly honored as one of the fastest growing and best places to work in SC. Evette lives in Travelers Rest with her three children, her husband and her mother. She will be speaking about her experiences in the private sector and how it led to her position as Lt. Governor. She will also address current issues in the state. At the meeting she will install the new officers of Anderson County Republican Women.
Also in attendance will be SC Senator Mike Gambrell, SC Sen. Richard Cash, SC Rep. Anne Thayer, SC Rep. Jay West, SC Rep. Brian White, SC Rep. West Cox and Sheriff Chad McBride. Anderson County Council members and Anderson City Council members have also been invited.
Donna Gotschall, President of the SC Federation of Republican Women, will introduce the Lt. Governor.
The meeting is casual, and the public is invited. It is not necessary to be a member of the club in order to attend the meeting. Men are also invited and can become Associate members.
