Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a two vehicle wreck near West Pelzer. The wreck happened at the intersection of Highway 8 and Palmetto Road. Traffic was backed up both directions on Highway 8 until the wreckage was cleared. West Pelzer firefighters and Pelzer EMS responded to the wreck. State troopers investigated.
