A lawn mower came off a trailer and was struck by a car Monday afternoon on Highway 29 nearly going through the windshield. The driver of the vehicle pulling the trailer did not stop. West Pelzer firefighters and Pelzer EMS responded to the call. The driver of the car that was struck was not seriously injured. The wreck happened between Ballard Road and Highway 8.
