Justin “Doobie” Mitchell, Teresa Smith, Loraine May, Michael Gary Perry

Justin “Doobie” Mitchell

Justin Anthony “Doobie” Mitchell, 31, partner of Matt Allred, passed away, Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Jerry Edwin Mitchell of Piedmont and Wanda Lee Farrow Adair (Dean) of Pelzer. He was an EMT with Haywood County EMS and an ER Tech with Haywood Regional Medical Center while also training to be a nurse.  He formerly served as a helicopter medic in Afghanistan. 

 In addition to his partner and parents, he is survived by sisters, Mindy Dantinne of Fountain Inn and Destiny Mitchell of Piedmont; brothers, Christopher Mitchell of Simpsonville and Jeremy Mitchell of Belton; grandparents, Loretta Farrow of Piedmont and Jerry Farrow of Piedmont.

A memorial service will be announced in the future.

Teresa Smith

Teresa Lynn Smith, 46, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of Beverly Lynn Stanton Smith of Piedmont and of the late Terry Douglas Smith. She was formerly employed with 3M.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers, Kevin Smith of Spartanburg and Steven Craig Smith of Morton, IL; grandmother, Annie B. Stanton of Piedmont.  

A graveside service was held on April 17, at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Loraine May

Piedmont – Lorrain Watford May, 59, wife of Jim May of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 after a long illness.

Born in Houston, TX, she was a daughter of the late Edward Watford and Rosalee Watford Ebron.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Laura Lee Watson, Anthony Fain, and Michael Willard; three sisters, Trely Wolfe, Kitty Chastain, and Edie Richey; two brothers.

A private graveside service will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 24.

Michael Gary Perry 

Michael Gary Perry, 40, of Williamston, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home.

He was the son of Marilyn Ann Gilbert and the late James Aaron Perry. He was self employed and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step brothers: Max Sailors and Jay Schofield; sisters: Mandy Reid and Melissa Holliday; step sister: Candi Stewart; step mom: Carolyn Golden.

Due to Covid-19 private services will be held at Gilbert Memorial Cemetery.
