A home on Brentwood Drive was destroyed by fire Friday afternoon. Firefighters from Wren, Piedmont, Powdersville, Three and Twenty fought the fire. Heavy black smoke was visible for miles at the height of the fire. Pelzer EMS stood by as a precaution while firefighters fought the blaze.
