An attempted motorcycle traffic stop in Belton turned into a pursuit Thursday evening. The chase went to the Cheddar community on multiple backroads and eventually onto Jalan Drive. The cyclist drive down Anita Court Near Williamston where he was apprehended. A passenger was detained for questioning but apparently released. There were no injuries.
