Ralph Blihar

Ralph Hodges Blihar, of Williamston, 68, husband of Julia Easler Blihar, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Joseph Michael and Okie Hewitt Blihar. He retired from Ingles and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Wayne Blihar of Piedmont and Jim Blihar (Diane) of Easley; daughter, Amy Ahler (Kris) of Greer; step-daughters, Heather Isom of Firestone, CO, Tamara Cox (Mike) of Piedmont and Tara Fennell of Greenville; sisters, Ilean Milton of Franklin, NC and Alma Otwell of Taveras, FL; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by sister, Shirley Neves.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ed Webster

Pelzer – Edward Charles “Ed” Webster, 47, husband of Cristy Evans Webster, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Born in Manila, Philippines, he was a son of Ronald and Polly Canfield Webster of Granton, WI. Ed was a nurse at Southpointe Nursing Home and a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church, Greenville.

He was a loving husband and great dad.  His mother says, “I never knew anyone else who worked so hard to achieve what he had. He was so proud of his family. The day he walked off the plane in 1978, he was our son.”

Additional survivors include daughter, Dannie Grace Rebecca Webster of the home; stepsons, Dylan and Ryan Beddingfield; sisters, Amber Barnes, Maylee Peck, Alice Painters, and Grace Lee; brother, Jay Webster; and his dog Harley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cheryl Dyal

Cheryl Ann Foster Dyal, 58, of Williamston, wife of Kenneth Dyal, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Joyce Wilson Foster. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Walter Dyal of Travelers Rest, Kenneth “K.O.” Dyal of the home; and daughter, Shauna Dyal of the home; two grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Angela Stephens Haulbrook 

Angela Stephens Haulbrook, 58, of Williamston, SC, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. 

Born March 21, 1962 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Claudia Walls Stephens and the late James Harold Stephens, Sr. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Tim Haulbrook; mother, Claudia Walls Stephens; son, Timothy Haulbrook (Laurin) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Rev. Nicole Dolderer (Jim) of Williamston, SC; brother, Junior Stephens of Anderson, SC; and four grandchildren,.

The funeral service was held on July 25, 2020 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Eddie Allen, Rev. Roger Stephens and Rev. Ted Capps officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of God Home for Children, P.O. Box 430, Mauldin, SC 29662.

Mark Creamer

William Mark Creamer,of Williamston, 57, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late William Larry “Bill” and Dorothy Partain “Dot” Creamer.  He was a self-employed electrician.

He is survived by his children, Josh Creamer (Britni) of Chicago, IL, Sydney Duckworth (Dustin), Hunter Creamer, and Dorothy Creamer all of Gainesville, GA; brothers, Donnie Creamer (Debbie) of Williamston and Ronnie Creamer (Kim) of Virginia Beach, VA; and two grandchildren.

A private burial will occur at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

Angela Stephens Haulbrook 

Angela Stephens Haulbrook, 58, of Williamston, SC, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Stephen Kazimer, Sr.

Stephen Kazimer, Sr., of Piedmont, husband of Kathryn Ruth Schloder Kazimer, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was a son of the late John and Eldeana Soaper Kazimer. He retired from Salem Corporation and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Shepherd’s Voice.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Stephen Kazimer, Jr. of Easley; daughters, Laura Ann Mitchell of CT, Yvonne Hysick of York, VA and Stephanie Kasarda of Clay, NY; step-children, Lora Vosack, Amy Pugarnt, Richard Badeau and Eddie Badeau; one brother; four sisters; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother and sister.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 15 at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

JOHN Hulan Ford, Sr.

John Hulan Ford, Sr., of Pelzer, husband of the late Pansy Gertrude Howard Ford, 93, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020.

 Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Rufus and Zura Evan Ford. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served in WWII. He retired from Fiber Industries and was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God.

He is survived by son, John H. “Johnny” Ford, Jr. of Belton; daughter, Brenda Ford Oliver of Ware Shoals; grandchildren, Angela Wood, Todd Ford, Dee, Anthony, and Michael Oliver; seventeen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by daughter, Janice Ford Darby; two brothers; and one sister.

A graveside service was held at Greenville Memorial Gardens, July 28.

Charlie Kimbrough

Williamston – Charles “Charlie” Mendel Kimbrough, 67, husband of Beverly Ann Ambrose Kimbrough, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Born in Williamston, he was the son of the late Bobby Kimbrough formerly of California and Helen Estelle Creamer Kimbrough formerly of Williamston. He retired from Michelin after 39 years and was a member of Williamston First Baptist Church. Charlie loved God, his family and the Clemson Tigers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Blythe Kimbrough of Fountain Inn, Ashton Smith (Gordon) of Katy, TX and Courtney Pack (Phillip) of Pelzer; grandchildren, Nora Johnson, Kaleigh and Calum Smith, Weston and Reid Pack.

A graveside service was held at 3:00 pm Friday, July 24 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Doris Faye Elliott Ellison 

Doris Faye Elliott Ellison, 88, widow of B. F. Ellison, Jr., formerly of Belton died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Anderson.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Clinton and Alma Swaney Elliott. She was a member of Belton Presbyterian Church and retired manager of the lunchroom at Marshall Primary Elementary School. In later years she worked at the News Chronicle.

Surviving are: son, Richard Ellison (Mandy) of Salom SC; daughters, Elaine Ellison Rider (Michael) of Honea Path, and Lynn Robinson (Scotty) of Belton; sisters, Margaret Harris and Sylvia Hardy; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellison; brother, Sam Elliott; and sister, Hazel Eurey.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children @ 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL, 33607 or Belton Presbyterian Church.

Gerri Pearson

Helen Geraldine “Gerri” Haynes Pearson, of Pelzer, 87, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Grover and Maggie Melinda Smith Haynes. She was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens as well as Western Family Steakhouse. A member of Washington Baptist Church and the Geraldine Woods Sunday School Class, she volunteered in the nursery and taught in the preschool department.

Survivors include daughter, Vickie Pearson Gedosch (Steve) of the home; son, Roger Pearson of Williamston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy Pearson; four sisters; and three brothers.

 A memorial service will be held at Washington Baptist Church, in the Family Life Center, Sunday, August 2, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will follow.
