Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, the Anderson County Council WILL NOT be holding a meeting that was tentatively scheduled for 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 11 at the Civic Center of Anderson.
In addition, the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday August 11, 2020 has been cancelled.
The Anderson County Board of Land Use and Zoning Appeals meeting scheduled for 5:30 PM on Thursday, August 13th at the Civic Center has also been cancelled.
Anderson County officials said the county will provide notice of the next meeting of County Council and other public meetings.
Anderson County officials also decided to close the Historic Courthouse last week to all employees and all persons due to multiple confirmed cases of COVID-19 occurring throughout county.
