GCSO makes arrest made in Anderson Road shooting


The suspect from a Tuesday morning shooting incident at 2735 Anderson Road has been identified and taken into custody. The incident took place near Carolina High School in Greenville County.

According to reports, the Greenville County Communications Center received a 911 call just before 4 am regarding a female who was shot inside of a car. When deputies arrived on scene they located a 20 year-old female, who had been shot at least one time. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

Ianteves Lamar Rogers, 21, was arrested by the GCSO F.A.S.I.T team at a residence in Pickens County.

Rogers is charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime after investigators learned Rogers got into a verbal altercation with his wife, Antwanaza Rogers as she returned home, just before 4:00am this morning. During the altercation Rogers shot his wife, who was seated in a vehicle. Mrs. Rogers was pronounced deceased at the scene.
