Town of Williamston under Boil Water Advisory

The Town of Williamston is currently under a boil water advisory.
Public Works Director David Rogers said the Town had a main water line to break on Tripp Street. Repairs have been completed and the Town has issued a Boil Water Advisory.

The Town of Williamston advises the residents of the Town and any customers on the Williamston system to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

Residents should continue to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the Town of Williamston. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
