Williamston Municipal Election Ballots Being Mailed Separately

Town of Williamston municipal election ballots are being sent out separate from early voting and absentee voting ballots recently mailed out by the Anderson County Voter Registration and Election office.

Williamston Municipal Election ballots are also available by request at all Anderson County early voting locations and the downtown Anderson office.

The Anderson County Elections Board will has four absentee voting locations open today (Sept. 8) for early and safe absentee voting.

The four satellite absentee voting locations will be open between the hours of 8:30 – 11:30 am and 1:00-5:00 pm.

The four Satellite Absentee locations are: Powdersville Library, 4 Civic Court Powdersville; Belton Recreation, 700 Blue Ridge Ave, Belton; Starr Fire Department, 7715 Hwy 81 S, Starr and Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center, 3027 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Anderson.

Williamston Mayor Mack Durham said he has spoken with Katie Smith, Anderson County Director of Voter Registration and Elections Director Katie Smith about the ballots.
“Williamston Town Election ballots are also being sent out in the mail today, so watch your mail for your ballot to arrive in the next couple of days,” Durham said. “Our voting officials are dedicated to giving every voter every opportunity they can to cast their vote safely and privately. I hope everyone will get out and vote and let their voice be heard during this election.”
