On Tuesday (Oct 13) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 629 new confirmed cases and 66 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus. DHEC also reported 14 additional confirmed deaths and 3 new probable deaths.

Anderson County reported 24 new cases and two deaths related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 78 new cases and two deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths in the state to 3,371, and 205 probable deaths.

There were 745 COVID patients in hospital beds. Of those, 201 were in ICU and 90 on ventilators.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 6,149 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 10.2%.
