On Wednesday the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 636 new confirmed cases and 66 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. DHEC also reported 32 additional confirmed deaths and 4 new probable deaths related to COVID.

Anderson County reported 57 new cases and no deaths from COVID.
Greenville County reported 90 new cases and 5 deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 3,634, and 242 probable deaths.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 4,096 and the percent positive was 15.5%.

There were 810 COVID patients in hospitals across the state. Of those 201 were in ICU and 95 on ventilators.

On Tuesday (Oct. 27) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 755 new confirmed cases and 81 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. DHEC also reported 19 additional confirmed deaths, and 4 new probable deaths related to COVID.

Anderson County reported 30 new cases, two probable cases and three deaths related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 106 new cases, one probable case and two deaths related to COVID.
There were 746 COVID patients in hospitals across the state. Of those, 118 are in ICU and 93 are on ventilators.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 3,602, and 240 probable deaths.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC Monday statewide was 5,770 and the percent positive was 13.1%.
