Easton Gowan was named the winner of the United Way’s Anderson Sings talent competition recently The event was a fundraiser for the organization and showcases the best vocal talents in Anderson County. As the winner, Easton will receive $1,000 plus perform at the 2021 Celebrate Festival opening for country star, Riley Green. he will also have the opportunity to record his original song, “My Bail” at the legendary Capricorn Music Studios where Otis Redding, Marshall Tucker Band, the Allman Brothers and many others walked the halls and recorded music. Easton is a Palmetto High graduate and attends Anderson university majoring in worship leadership. He also leads high school and middle school worship at NewSpring Church.
