SCDHEC Update – Nov. 10

On Tuesday (Nov. 10) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 1,326 new confirmed cases and 69 new probable cases of the COVID-19. DHEC also reported 18 additional confirmed deaths and 4 new probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 93 new cases. Greenville County led the State reporting 209 new cases and three additional deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 3,795, and 267 probable deaths.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 9,770 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 13.6%.
Hospitals report their information each day to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by way of TeleTracking, and that same reporting is also provided to DHEC. Today’s TeleTracking report stated there were 784 COVID patients in hospitals. Of those 197 were in ICU and 104 ventilated.
