SCDHEC Weekend Update – Nov. 13-16

On Monday (Nov. 16) The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 981 new cases and 10 probable cases of COVID 19.
DHEC also reported 27 confirmed deaths and 4 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 56 new cases and 3 deaths.
Greenville County reported 193 new cases and 2 deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths related to COVID-19 statewide to 3873 and probable deaths to 270.
There were 6,688 individual test results reported statewide Sunday (not including antibody tests) and of those, 14.7% percent were positive.

There were 769 COVID patients in hospitals across the state. Of those 210 were in ICU and 102 ventilated.

On Sunday (Nov. 15) DHEC reported 1,339 new cases and 10 probable cases. DHEC also reported two deaths related to COVID.

There were 8,694 individual test results reported statewide Saturday (not including antibody tests) with 15.4% percent positivity rate,

On Saturday (Nov. 14) DHEC reported 1,617 new cases and 86 possible cases of COVID.
There were 8 COVID related deaths.
10,519 individual test results were reported with 15.4% percent positive.

On Friday (Nov. 13) DHEC) reported 1,348 new cases and 100 probable cases.
There were 17 COVID related deaths and one probable COVID death.

There were 9,198 individual test results reported statewide with 14.7% percent positivity rate.
