On Tuesday (Nov. 17) The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 1.088 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 58 probable cases. DHEC also reported 11 confirmed COVID related deaths and three probable.

Anderson County reported 48 new cases and one death.
Greenville County reported 167 and no deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths related to COVID to 3,884 and probable deaths to 272.
7,894 individual test results reported statewide yesterday and 13.8% percent were positive.
There were 800 COVID patients in hospitals across the state. Of those 224 are in ICU and 106 are on ventilators.
