Benjamin Kay

Benjamin Jefferson “Pee Wee” Kay, Jr., of Williamston, 82, husband of the late Valerie Eleanor Hilton Kay, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.

   Born in Stephens County, GA, he was a son of the late Benjamin Jefferson Kay, Sr. and Nancy Emnline Turpin Kay. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mr. Kay was also a mason and a member of the Golden Strip Shrine Club.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry Kay of Lavonia, GA, Jeff Kay of Anderson, Larry Seals of Belton, Brian Kay of Williamston, Benjamin Kay of Williamston; sisters, Linda Edwards and Rilla Jean Hornick; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Gray Mortuary.

The funeral will be Friday, December 11, at noon in the mortuary chapel, with burial to follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

   Memorials may be made to Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church, 10 Parker St., Williamston, SC 29697.

Due to Covid-19, the family prefers that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.

The family is at the home.

Donnie Durham

Donald Ray “Donnie” Durham, of Anderson, 86, husband of the late Bobbie Newman Durham, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020.

   Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Eddie Albert Durham, Sr. and Pearl Bargoil Durham. He retired from Cryovac and was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church.

   Survivors include sons, Eddie and Bryan Durham, both of Williamston; two step-children, Anna Marie Brock and Mike Mason, both of Anderson; sisters, Kathryn Bagwell of West Pelzer and Dot Chapman of Anderson; brother, Sammy Durham of West Pelzer; grandchildren, Marshall Durham of Williamston and Hilary Durham of Dayton, OH; three great-grandchildren; and one step-grandson.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 11, at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Mortuary Chapel.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.

Annette Marshall

Annette Gail Davis Marshall of Williamston, 59, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of William Gary “Pete” Davis and Linda Gail Wood Davis of Williamston. She was formerly employed with Goodwill in Powdersville.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Dan Marshall of Coatsville, IN, Deann Brooks of Williamston, and Allen Marshall of Pelzer; brother, Timmy Davis of Easley; sisters, Donna Craine of Williamston and Renee Russell of Pelzer; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

 The service was held December 9 in the mortuary chape, with burial following at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Martha Anne White 

Martha Anne White, 69, of Pelzer SC died on November 27, 2020

Born on January 21, 1951 in Anderson SC. She was the daughter of Margret Waters

She was a homemaker and devoted wife to her late husband Phillip White. She is survived by her two children Crystal Crocker and David White with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Due to Covid-19 precautions, and as an abundance of caution. The family has decided to conduct a small private memorial service. Thank you for your condolences and keep the family in your thoughts and prayers

Donna Wood

Donna Faye Parker Wood of Piedmont, 60, widow of Rev. Edward Eugene Wood, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her home.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Donald Clarence and Bobbie Faye Eller Parker.

She was formerly employed with Prisma Health.

In addition to her parents of Piedmont, she is survived by her husband, Grady Charles Revis of the home; a son, Samuel David Banks of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Sandra Adcox of Williamston and Annette Oliver of Piedmont; and brother, Don Parker, Jr. of Piedmont.

The family received friends December 5 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel.  Burial was at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Ruth Wynn

Ruth Ann Canup Wynn, of Piedmont 76, widow of Carroll David Wynn, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

   Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Russell and Edna Mae Perry Canup.  She was formerly employed with the Greenville Hospital System and a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church.

 Survivors include sons, Steven Canup of Piedmont, Russell Canup of Pelzer, Stewart Wynn of Anderson, David and Norman Wynn, both of Piedmont; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
