SCDHEC Weekend Update – Dec. 10-13

On Sunday (Dec. 13) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 2,924 new confirmed cases and 61 probable cases of COVID-19.

DHEC also reported 44 new confirmed deaths and 11 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 136 new cases, 1 probable cases and 2 deaths related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 491 new cases, 3 probable cases and 7 deaths related to COVID.

 

This bring the total confirmed deaths to 4,387 and probable deaths to 352.

There were 13,749 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
with 21.3% of those testing positive.
There were 1278 COVID patients in hospitals across the state with 295 in ICU and 129 ventilated.

On Saturday (Dec. 12) DHEC 3,047 new cases and 76 probable cases.
DHEC also reported 12 deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 85 new cases and 1 death.
Greenville County reported 510 new cases and 1 death.

 

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths related to COVID-19 to 4,344 and probable deaths to 341.

There were 13,234 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
with 23.0% positive.

On Friday (Dec 11) South Carolina reported its highest number of daily new cases of COVID-19, by more than 700 from the previous high daily number.

A total of 3,217 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 were reported and 47 additional South Carolinians have lost their lives because of the virus.
The state has now suffered 4,673 deaths.

DHEC reported 3,137 new cases and 80 probable cases.
DHEC also reported 42 new deaths and 5 probable deaths.

This bring the total number of confirmed deaths to 4,332 and probable deaths to 341.

There were 16,897 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
with 18.6% positive.

On Thursday (Dec. 10) DHEC) reported 1,883 new cases and 63 probable cases.
DHEC reported 12 deaths and 3 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 119 new cases and no deaths.
Greenville County reported 302 new cases and no deaths.

There were 8,828 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
21.3% positive.
On Thursday, there were 1,278 COVID patients in hospitals with 295 in ICU and 129 on ventilators.
