On Tuesday (Dec. 15) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 2,303 new cases and 19 probable cases of COVID-19.
DHEC also reported 4 additional deaths and 1 probable death related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 87 new cases and 1 death.
Greenville County still leads the state in new daily cases with 437.
Spartanburg is next with 210 and York with 209.
This brings the total number of deaths in the state related to COVID to 4,402 and 354 more probable deaths.
There were 11,589 new individual test results reported statewide with 19.9% positive.
There were 1046 COVID patients in hospitals. Of those 261 were in ICU and 111 were ventilated.
