On Thursday (Dec. 17) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 2,023 new confirmed cases and 136 probable cases of COVId-19.
DHEC also reported 39 confirmed deaths and 4 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 147 new caes and 3 deaths related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 306 new cases and 2 deaths related to COVID.
This bring the total confirmed deaths related to COVID to 4,484 and probable deaths to 359.
There were 8,357 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
with a positivity rate of 24.2%.
