The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 3935 new cases and 69 probable cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday (Jan 6).
DHEC also reported 51 deaths and 29 probable deaths related to COVID.
There were 11,500 test results with 34.2 % positive.
There were 2424 COVID patients in hospitals. Of those 469 were in ICU and 247 were ventilated.
