Due to the rise of COVID-19 cases and for the health of staff and patrons, all Anderson County Library System locations are returning to curbside services and public access within libraries suspended.

“We want to do what is best for the safety and health of our staff and our patrons,” says Anderson County Library Director Faith Line. “Curbside services allow us to continue serving our patrons and community in a way that is both safe and effective. We will be monitoring our operations on a daily basis and evaluating how best to serve patrons while minimizing risk to staff and the public.”

Patrons will be able to place holds online through their SCLends account, or by contacting their library by phone or email, then pick up materials at their local library. Materials can be returned any time in the outdoor book returns located at all library locations, excluding the Westside Community Center library. There will be no fines for late materials during this time.

Current library hours are:

Anderson Main Library: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm
