On Tuesday (Jan. 26) DHEC reported 1,993 new cases of COVID-19 and 22 probable cases. DHEC reported 24 new confirmed deaths and 2 probable deaths related to COVID. There were 9,181 tests reported with 21.7 percent positive.
Statewide there were 2,173 COVID patients in hospitals with 440 in ICU and 279 on ventilators.
