Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:
Feb. 13 – John Wesley Smith, 25, 109 Whitten Rd., Pelzer was issued a summons for open container and driving under suspension after a gray Chevy Tahoe was observed on Anderson Dr., with a defective headlight. He was issued a warning for the headlight. The vehicle was towed and Smith was picked up by a friend. J. Markeith investigated.
Feb. 12 – Andrew Philip Strickland, 34, 2505 Cullowee Mountain Rd, Cullowee, NC was arrested and issued a ticket for driving under suspension after a 2009 Honda Accord was observed on South Hamilton St. traveling 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. Strickland’s license was suspended for failure to appear in court in NC. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver. D. R. Hart investigated.
Feb. 9 – Raderick Lee Gosnell, 26, 19 Parker St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension (3rd offense)after the vehicle he was driving was observed on Anderson Drive traveling 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. A licensed driver picked up the vehicle and Gosnell was transported to ACDC. R. Drennon investigated.
Feb. 8 – Gary McAlister LLC reported wires valued at $400 were taken from the kitchen and appliance room at 75 Middleton Blvd. D. R. Hart investigated.
