On Sunday (Mar. 14) The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) reported 502 new cases of COVID-19, 124 probable cases and 6 deaths related to COVID as of Friday (Mar. 21). Anderson County reported 16 new cases and 6 probable cases. Greenville County reported 69 new cases and 9 probable cases. Both counties reported one death each. There were 18,196 molecular test results reported with 4.6 percent positive.
There were 597 COVID patients in hospitals with 159 in ICU and 64 vented.
