On Saturday, March 13, Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shooting incident at an address on Belton Highway in Belton. Upon arrival deputies located an adult male that had been shot at least one time. He was airlifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Detective and Forensic personnel responded and began their investigation into the homicide of 30-year old Kevin B. Pierce of Anderson. Detectives working the case signed arrest warrants for two people.
Johnathan P. Hart has been arrested and is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.
Upon continued investigation into the shooting, the sheriff’s office dropped an active arrest warrants for Timothy N. Wells, however detectives still need to locate and speak with Wells as a witness in the incident.
