On Thursday (April 1) DHEC reported 510 new cases and 435 probable cases of COVID-19. DHEC also reported 14 confirmed deaths and 14 probable deaths related to COVID. There were 12,657 molecular test results reported with 5.7 percent positive. Statewide there were 502 COVID patients in hospitals with 121 in ICU and 48 on ventilators.
