The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) is investigating two incidents in the Piedmont area, one involving shots fired and a second involving a death.
Sunday Apr. 25 – Deputies with Greenville County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a shooting that took place at 1 Lakeside Road. According to the GCSO, at 10:06 pm, Deputies received a call in reference to shots fired. Deputies arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported him to the hospital, and is expected to survive. An individual is in custody and being questioned.
Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are also conducting a death investigation at 101 Palamon St, Piedmont. Deputies received a call just after 6:39 pm in reference to someone locating a deceased person in the woods behind the residence.
Both incidents are in the early stages of investigation.
