West Pelzer recognizes employees

During their meeting Tuesday, West Pelzer Town Council recognized town employees for their service and commitment to the town.

Councilmember Pat Alexander read an Employee Appreciation Proclamation stating that “citizens are served every day by the public employees of the Town of West Pelzer. These individuals do the work that keeps our town working. Their tireless efforts are especially critical today during the the COVID-19 pandemic.

The proclamation recognizes in Administration – Paula Payton, CMC, Town Clerk/Administrator; Kelly Arthur, Clerk of Court, Michelle Driver, Billing Clerk.
Public Works – Jeff Pearson, Seth Blackwell.
Police Department – Alexis Eliopoulos, Chief of Police; Scott Stoller, Lieutenant; Ryan Marro, Sergeant; Rory Bell, Doug Partain, Jeremy Jones, Zachary Parks and Joe Wilson.

May 2-8 is Public Service Recognition Week and Municipal Clerks Week. May 9-15 is Police Appreciation Week and May 16-22 is Public Works’ Appreciation Week.
The proclamation recognized that May 2021 is West Pelzer Employee Appreciation Month and encourages citizens to recognized the accomplishments and contributions of local government employees.

West Pelzer Town Clerk/Administrator Paula Payton, CMC was presented an Employee Appreciation Proclamation which recognizes town employees for their service and commitment during Employee Appreciation Month of May in West Pelzer. Councilmember Pat Alexander read the proclamation and presented it to Payton.
