Pelzer will host a Freedom Fest Celebration on July 3 that will include Field Games, Raffles, Local Food Trucks, Local Vendors, a 5k Fun Run and a Parade.
Organizers encourage you to dress in your most patriotic gear and join the fun on July 3rd for Pelzer’s 1st Annual Freedom Fest in The Monkey Park. “Be a part of bringing back an old tradition and making new memories,” a spokesperson said.
The 5k run kicks off at 8 am, followed by field day games and food trucks at 11 am. The parade begins at 4 pm. All proceeds go toward restoration of The Pelzer Historic Hospital.
