The Town of Williamston Freedom Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 3. The event will include a car show/cruise-in, food vendors, fireworks and live music by JukeBox 45. A new event this year will be a Golf Cart parade.
The Golf Cart Parade will line up at ACE Hardware parking lot at 6 p.m. and the parade will begin as 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.
Food vendors will be in the park serving delicious food items beginning at 12 noon until. Food Vendors include Carolina Classic Diner serving Barbecue; Danny’s Dog’s serving Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and Hut’s Nuts with boiled peanuts, snow cones, and assorted candy items.
A Cruise-In with the area’s hottest cruisers will be in the Town Square Center parking lot from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cruise-in is sponsored by the Williamston Fire Department. Anyone can purchase a $1 ticket for a chance at three $50 cash drawings. Drawings will be held at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Jukebox 45 will be playing live music on the Park Amphitheater stage from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fireworks will follow shortly after, on the ballfields, as it gets dark.
